Massilia Motors Celebrates Mitsubishi Motors Heritage In Nigeria *

Massilia Motors, sole distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Nigeria, is set to celebrate the rich Mitsubishi Motors heritage in style.

From August 27 to 31, its Victoria Island, Lagos showroom on Adeola Odeku street, will be transformed into a maze, taking visitors on a journey to celebrate the different milestones of the brand.

According to the General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Massilia Motors, Mr. Navin Chander, the company’s showroom will be open to the many happy Mitsubishi users, auto enthusiasts and invited guests.

Activities lined up for the week include masterclasses, panel discussions, album listening, cocktail night, among others. The Heritage week will feature Canon and renowned photographer Emmanuel Oyeleke, ASPIRE Luxury Magazine, Chocolate City Rapper - MI Abaga, Zaron Cosmetics, Johnnie Walker (Diageo Nigeria) and Tinsel actress/Jazz artiste - Tomi Odunsi, amongst others.

The General Manager also stated that “We are also rewarding our existing Mitsubishi Motors clientele through online giveaways. Visitors can also stopover at the showroom daily to view historic images of Mitsubishi car models from time past and also register online to participate in some of the activities open to the public”.

In 2017, Mitsubishi Motors celebrated its 100th anniversary, holding the title of Japan’s oldest car manufacturer. The first series production passenger car, the Mitsubishi Model-A, was developed by Mitsubishi Shipping Company in 1917. It was the first car to be adorned with the three-diamond emblem and was the first mass production car in Japanese history.
